 Rob McConnell serves as Principal of Ventures Development Group, LLC.  As a Founder of the firm, Rob’s driving vision is to deliver quality real estate developments to the communities it serves, to provide risk-weighted and above average returns to its investment partners, and to maintain the highest integrity in all interactions with its design, construction and business partners.

 In addition to overall development management, Rob is primarily responsible for structuring debt and equity financing, overview of market and project analysis, and construction management.

Rob embarked on a career in commercial banking in 1986 and ultimately served as Executive Vice President for a Super Regional bank overseeing commercial, corporate and real estate lending operations exceeding $1 billion.  Additionally, he held an Executive Vice President position at le Triomphe Property Group, where he managed the development firms’ equity and debt financing.

 Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from LSU, and a post-graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking of the South.  He resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a member and Deacon of First Presbyterian Church, and currently serves on several non-profit boards.

sEAN sIEBERT

Sean Siebert, serves as one of the Principals and Co-Founders of Ventures Development Group and has been in the real estate development industry for nearly 25 years, primarily focusing on opportunities throughout Texas and Florida. Sean has provided development, construction, operational, asset and risk mitigation management services for multi-family and commercial developments for over 30 projects, representing approximately $1.5 billion in value. 

 

Sean’s hands-on approach involves all aspects of the real estate development cycle which includes: preparing and implementing of strategic business plans for development and reposition opportunities, acquisition and development underwriting, review and structuring of various real estate operating agreements and other legal related agreements involving development, design and construction professionals, negotiating and structuring of construction contracts, overseeing construction management activities, securing and closing of capital structures (including senior debt and equity capital), preparing and overseeing sales/leasing and marketing programs, integrating and overseeing operational and asset management programs related to lease ups and stabilized operations.

 

Prior to forming Ventures Development Group, Sean was Vice President of Development for le Triomphe Property Group, a full-service real estate organization based in Baton Rouge, LA.  Sean holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida and resides in St. Augustine, FL with his wife and four children.

LACY LINEWEAVER

Lacy Lineweaver Joined Ventures Development Group in 2019 as Vice President and is responsible for overseeing the property management platform. Lacy has nearly 22 years of experience in the Multi-Family industry.  She began her career in 1997 with Fairfield Residential as a “Lease-up Specialist” and continued to become one of the company’s elite Business Managers. In 2008 she began overseeing multiple assets as an Asset Manager for The Hudgins Companies and in 2012 transitioned back to the operations side as a Regional Property Manager with Lincoln Property Company. She also spent time at JPI, one of the industry’s leading multifamily companies where she was Director of Client Services. Prior to coming to Ventures she was Vice President for Sparrow Partners where she built a management platform from the ground up growing her knowledge base in the Active Adult space.  Her experience consists of over 40 new construction lease ups totaling $900 Million in assets with Fairfield Residential, JPI, and various Owners in the DFW market.  She has been instrumental in helping her clients develop strategies of strengthening revenue growth and ultimately improving asset values through operations, design and development.  Her knowledge base of high-end Multifamily assets helped mold her niche’ in the marketplace as a “Boutique Style” Operator and understanding the dynamics of new developments in difficult submarkets. Her experience and background bring a different perspective to our ground up developments that we feel give us a more competitive edge and allows us to deliver assets from a buyer’s point of view.
